NMI  -  Nazarene Missions International

The Church of the Nazarene is engaged in missions work in over 150 countries around the globe.  Jesus told his followers to be his disciples in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and the ends of the earth.  We have a responsibility to minister, not only in our own communities, but also globally.

The Prayer Mobilization Line (PML) is a weekly publication focusing on the prayer needs and praise reports for the global ministries of the Church of the Nazarene and our missionaries. It is available in English and Spanish.  Anyone can subscribe to receive PML, free of charge, via e-mail on the NMI Web site. Printable versions of the current and archived issues of PML are available. Click on the prayer button to access the PML website.

Note:  PML has moved to a once-a-week distribution and will send the English and Spanish versions every Wednesday before 1:00 p.m., Eastern Time. Please visit the PML Facebook page often as additional requests are posted daily –

Our Work and Witness program sends thousands of volunteers around the world each year helping with construction and educational projects. Our local church, Warren First Church, has sent several teams out to stateside locations such as Indian reservations in Arizona and Michigan and to other world-wide locales such as Peru, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, Venezuela, and the continent of Africa. Contact our NMI President, Cordie Davis, for more information regarding local church trips.

The East Ohio District church of the Nazarene, (EOD) of which we are a part, also has a Work and Witness team that goes out annually. To be a part of this district team feel free to contact the East Ohio District Office.

Nazarene Disaster Response sends out teams both in North America and around the world in the case of natural and man-made disasters. The East Ohio District of the Church of the Nazarene has a response team and those interested in being on-call as a part of this team are encouraged to contact the East Ohio District Office.

Engage Magazine provides up-to-date information regarding the global ministries of the Church of the Nazarene and practical ways in which you can get involved.

Volunteers are always needed at numerous sites around the world. Naz Serve is a great way to get involved in either short-term or long-term missions projects.
